The Greenwood Grotto Free Library

Right off Highland Avenue. Nestled in between St. Charles and Drewry in the heart of Virginia Highland lies the Greenwood Grotto Free Library. I’ll stop being so pretentious and put it in words that will make sense to you. It’s right next to Darkhorse or a 10 minute stumble south of Moe’s & Joe’s. The Grotto is the home of four lads (three when Sam gets married in October) who have a few different things in common. A love of basketball, beer, and books. With a common thread that nits them all together into a seamless story – a hope that is in Jesus Christ alone. “Community is not something attained but created through the mutual love and respect of its members” – Dietrich Bonhoeffer

We are a group of guys that want to make reading good literature just a little more accessible. Creating a community to discuss books and raise up the next generation of readers. It is quite simple. We own almost 300 unique titles and would love to freely share these books with our friends. This is how:

  2. Submit a check-out request https://forms.gle/f4DMuBikUXJ9JyCP9  – we will contact you when received. We even have an algorithm to curate a recommendation if you are not sure what you want!
  3. Schedule a pick-up time at The Grotto – sorry if you don’t live in ATL :/
  4. Consume literature – in 3 weeks or less please 
  5. Drop it back off at The Grotto
